'humbled ego people' LOL! we are talking about skydivers here.

I personally let it be known ahead of time. I also let it be known I was bringing a keg. I got to pull out of the middle of a 20 way organized for my 1000th jump, FUN!. And I got shaked&baked, oh wait, that wasn't much fun.

IMO it's not an ego thing to annouce the potential breaking of a major milestone in your skydiving life.

Congrats Paulie. Watch over your shoulder. (-:

Mike, what do you know about being humble?

I've met Paul twice, and found him to be not conceited, but rather extremely enthusiastic about skydiving. Of course, I can understand how a jaded, egotistical skydiver, with a simplistic world view could confuse the two. :-0

Congratulations Paul, and thanks for the jump at Tahoe. I'll scan the pics in a few days.
