I agree that the two types of posts are different. But i also see CRW mikes point on this one. I came in today and had to check which damn group i was in! I dont mind crossposting on relevant topics but can someone explain why i found a thread on some kind of mad religious stuff of over a 100 posts?? Why here? Cross posting is one thing, Packing up and moving in a entire virtual communitity is another. I feel as if i was sitting chatting at the local campfire and a load of pilots whome nobody knows, arrive in , takes all the best seats, steal all the beer and starts talking about themselves! I will and have spent hours going through posts where snuffy and JK, tom B and Rhonda and Chewie, me

, jimbo etc all chat back and forward about nothing very interesting - and thats ok because i know these people and even if theres no nuggests of huge information that might save my life, i know the history, backgrounds, and attitudes of the people involved and i enjoy reading it - have a look at the thread about the taliban etc - theres hundreds of messages from people i have never heard of, basically telling each other that they are c*nts! - Rhonda, thats far beyond 'the tradition of usenet'
How long are they going to be here? and when are they moving home????
