Quincy????, WFFC 2001

I talked to a local couple who was scoping out the convention on Thursday night, I think, who confirmed this attitude. They were very happy to have us there, but were concerned about our behavior. Not concerned themselves (whatever) just what the local religious types perceive about us. They said something about naked chick riding around on Harleys every night and that they didn't think that was true. I didn't bother to tell them that it was. I think they were trying to be open minded, but would really have been happier if we just conformed to the local public standard of morals.

I think you and Kim made the right comments. The people of Quincy are pretty accomodating when it comes to the WFFC. They go out of their way to make us feel at home here for the short 10 days were here. They like the money we put into their local economy. I think we can all pull together and fix a few things to as you say make the local religious types happy.

Skydivers are a great bunch and the ones that come to Quincy every year are some of the best. Were a diverse bunch and we accept this diversity quite well. Quincy is a great city and has grown enormously because of the WFFC and other conventions etc. Let's pull together and be back for an even better convention in Quincy in 2001.
