sheep axe's

268 pounds of swinging meat, Arch built in by Whataburger 215 mph, front loop funnel 280 mph pull swoop cords and as the base built I mighta slowed down to 120 mph, the bigger the formation the slower the fall rate. Ain't had none of them new gadjets that record back then....strictly sec count and estimation. I know the average otter nor King Air cuddn't beat me down, only the mullins bomb :-* Snuffy Smith (_?_) Brillant moine Asthetic la philosophie du skydiving ohm ohm :>

yea, when both of the guys were telling how fast they went, no one could believe it. soon we are going to have one go out with a few of us and see if he can flat fly and keep up with myself and a few others while we are head down.....but if what he claims is true, he shouldnt have any problems keeping up

Me and Don Olson jumped with a big old Jarguh boy built like a bowling ball, he used to own/manage jump at the old Swamp DZ I think & was involved in the Pepsi skydiving commercials years ago. I had a side grip on this guy while he wuz belly down and he wuz pulling my 268 pounds of swinging meat & gear head down. Don darted around us in a weird 45 degree crab track and kissed him off. Believe the old Georgia guys dead now cuz he wuz seriously old & fat then.

A year or so ago, in a thread discussing footage of you in 'Chronicle III,' you suggested that you accomplished your fast fall rate not because you were heavy, but by 'flying at the ground.' If that is so, then others should be able to learn how to do it (and perhaps take you up on your challenge). Can you explain what you meant by 'flying at the ground?'
